What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
Growing up on a small holding in northern New Mexico has been one of the richest and most educating experiences of my life. My family has always grown and processed our own food showing me how abundant and productive even small pieces of land can be. Amid this lifestyle I have learned a lot about growing organic food, maintaining fruit orchards, looking after animals of all sorts and especially maintaining and protecting the land and environment around us. Additionally the area where i am from is traditionally an agrarian region allowing me to constantly be involved and in tune with organic agriculture and its networks. Even when i left home to attend university 100 miles south of where i was from, i still had the opportunity to volunteer and work on organic farms of all sorts. This has not only been a passion for me but a lifestyle as well. Finally, coming from a agrarian lifestyle, I not only have an good understanding about the knowledge involved in organic farming but also the skill set and labor experience.

hola eres bienvenido apartir del 7de agosto, solo te comento que mucha de nuestra operacion se hace con maquinaria, no creas que el arroz lo plantamos a mano, aunque si hay mucho trabajo fisico, solo para que lo tomes en cuenta, ya que a algunos no les parece. tenemos una bodega en donde hay espacio para quete instales con tu casa de campaña o hamaca, y ahi hay baño completo, cualquier cosa escribeme a mi correo arroz_elpijije@yahoo.com.mx, saludos

Okay I have two projects, one is the medicinal garden in the town of bacalar the other is a large garden...at the resort that I manage. www.akalki.com I can offer you a private palapla with bathroom to live in and 3 meals a day in exchange for 5 days of work....in both gardens..the in town garden would be one to two days a week and you would be working with a mayan herbalist, he is 75years old and very interesting, you would learn a lot about local plants. The hotel garden is mostly vegtables and fruits ...and we want and need ideas to expand. You would have weekends off.
I noticed that you are from New Mexico.....so am I....Taos area.

me dices que vienes en agosto y septiembre y ahora que hasta octubre, sinceramente no te entiendo, solo te puedo comentar que la siembra del arroz comienza a mediados de agosto, por si quieres participar si quieres llegar mas tarde no hay problema, saludos
