What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
I finished school at the University of Toronto with a major in art history. Satisfied with my education but craving more traditional knowledge of working the land, I wish to travel abroad while learning the practical life skills of growing one's own food and of living sustainably. I want to pursue a masters in landscape architecture, and I really feel that wwoofing will expand my knowledge and perspective on the environment and the lands that different people live on and how they survive, while also training me in the skills that matter to our everyday lives and to our future. My interests are mainly in biodynamic farming, animal husbandry, natural building, and ranching although I am open to all and any possibilities. I'm a hard worker who is used to physical labour from working at an artisinal micro-chocolate factory, as well as a solid work ethic. I love being outdoors and don't know how people can work inside all day and every day! I am in good physical health, don't smoke, and am happy to eat vegetarian, vegan, or omnivorous meals as well as to help in the preparation of such meals. Last, I am an avid weaver and would love any opportunity to learn from or help out other people who are traditional weavers.
