I am interested in the family traditions and culture of food in Mexico. I have lived briefly on several occasions in the Yucatan Peninsula, and done some fairly serious study of the cuisine there. I co-founded a little tourism business in Puerto Morelos designed for the curious traveler, called a day-long food adventure in Mexican Food. I am eager to expand my knowledge of regional cuisine and learn how to make all things Mexican, from scratch. A restaurant professional in my first career and a video and TV producer in my second career, I am bringing it all together in my explorations of authentic local foods (in all media). When I wwoof I ALWAYS work in the garden and kitchen. But I can also help you with any media initiatives you might envision. I travel with my little HD video camera and laptop editing system. So many things are possible now and I love to share the excitement.
