What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
Growing up on a farm, I quickly learned the value of growing food. For the past 3 years, I have been living in the desert on the US/Mexico border. I live in a reconstructed adobe 'ruin' that dates back to when the mining industry was booming here. I live without electicity and running water, and have a small garden. The challenges of building, gardening, and simply surviving in this harsh environment has taught me SO much. I don't have a lot of experience in building (carpentry, etc.), but know my way around an average garden.
What are your reasons for joining WWOOF Mexico?

What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
I'm a hard worker, and am used to communal living. Being a vegetarian, I love cooking for other people, or just cooking together. I love animals, hiking, a good book, and spending time in my garden. While my Spanish isn't perfect, I can hold basic conversations. By WWOOF'ing in Mexico, I hope to gain more experience in sustainable and organic farming, so that I can put it to practice when I return to my community. Basically, I try to live my life as simply as possible, and stay focused on the things that truly matter: love, family, experiences, etc. Muchas gracias por adelantado, y espero verle pronto!
