What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
For most of my adult life I have been an organic gardener/grower operating many organic gardens and small organic farms.

What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
I am a strong believer in organic and sustainable living. I am also a hard worker and passionate about what ever I am doing. As a retired New Mexico educator, I have also had many years of extensive farming and organic growing experiences which makes me an asset to any farm needing assistance. I also have a journalistic background and do freelance writing/photography for a variety of publications. My Spanish skills continue to improve as I spend more time traveling around Mexico. Last fall, I spent a month in San Miguel de Allende with two cooking instructors who sent me to local tiendas, mercados and weekly tianguis for the freshest ingredients to cook healthy and communal meals.I am looking forward to a great hands-on experience with organic growers and farmers.

Since we will be away in July, better visit us in August. We accept extras who are willing to work in exchange for food, if they can find a place to stay. There are many good, cheap places in San Cristobal. i will write you later.
