Laura, I hope you don't mind if I write to you in English (I speak and understand Spanish well, but my writing leaves much to be desired). I like your background in restaurants and in the Amazon. We are promoting farm-to-table program and have been more involved with the local "EcoTiangis" which I'm sure you will be interested in participating with and meeting the folks invovled. How much time are you looking to spend with us and when? In general, we look for volunteers wanting to spend at least a month with us, depending on what they are doing. We had an intern that did a project on Culinary Tourism that resulted in one of our most popular excursions to a Coffee and Cacao farm in the Sierra's about 1 hour up the watershed. So interested in discussing further. David
Hello we have a farm in Rosarito Baja California, we started growing a large variety of organic vegetables. We plan to open a living garden store with chickens and we will be growing fresh water shrimp. If this sounds of interest to you let us know to get in contact and give you a more personalized definition of what we are getting our hands into.
