What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
I have spent two seasons on small organic farms in the US, as well as the upcoming season as a farm manager. Additionally, I spent a year in the Mojave desert working on a conservation crew, where I did restoration work, invasive species removal and fire prevention. With my degree in Environmental Studies, a passion for all living things and the drive to make our world a better one, I plan on starting my own responsible farm near my home in southeastern Michigan.

What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
I truly believe that with open eyes, everthing and everyone around me is a learning opportunity, for all parties! My goal is to improve myself and my knowledge of agriculture; my experience is in vegetable production, but my work experience is highly varied, as are my interests. I like to get dirty, sweat lots and look back at a good hard day's work with a smile, especially if I can enjoy a homegrown meal at the end! When I'm not in the fields, I like to cook, hike, sail, read and explore!
