What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?: My mom and step dad have a hobby farm. I helped on the farm stacking hay as I grew up. My dad grows most of his own food. My wife and I had an organic garden. I also worked for a landscaper planting trees and flowers for 4 summers and I enjoy working with my hands, working outdoors. I will start an environmental master's program in the Fall. I have also worked on development projects in Ethiopia for 8 months.

What are your reasons for joining WWOOF Mexico?: Learning about sustainable living and agriculture, Getting to know Mexico better

What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?: I'm a hard worker. We hope to have our own organic farm someday. My family has land that I want to take over with my wife. I hope that I can be at least a part-time farmer someday, growing my own food. Wwoofing is really practical for us. I'm going to study environmental economics for graduate school. I have worked for a landscaper planting trees and shrubs for four seasons. I've also worked for a mason before building stone walls. I studied anthropology and view wwoofing as a better form of travel. My wife and I just finished teaching English in Central Mexico. It was a six month job. Now we want to focus on learning Spanish and spend as little time as possible in the cities.

Hey man ive seen your profile on alot of the same farms that i want to work on and i am just wondering how you are geting around Mexico? Everyone is telling me not to drive so i am trying to get a feel for what other wwoofers are doing.
