What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
All started with my interest for wild edible plants back home. Amazing what you can eat and create with what is in the forests! ThenI did some wwoofing in Aotearoa, New Zealand. So learned how to maintain a garden, to milk goats, build a cob wall or even composting toilets. I enjoyed a lot the permaculture course I did there, talked a lot about community reliance and. And then I came to canada to live two months in the woods! there I learned how to make fire, build some shelters, hunt with a bow and arrows that we made from what nature could give us. Life changing experience. and now I want to discover Mexico through different people s eyes and their relationship with nature
What are your reasons for joining WWOOF Mexico?
Learning about sustainable living and agriculture, Getting to know Mexico better, Other
What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
I ve been traveling for the last year. A travel to open my mind, my eyes and hands. I ve loved learning from other s experiences and from the land. For me it s the best school ever. I m keen on working outside, not scared on working hard as long as the spirit and the good atmosphere are there! I m really curious about your native plants and their medicinal and spiritual uses ! One of my next goals is to find an accordeon and learn how to play with a bunch of people around a fire! so here I come!
