Profile Information

What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
For the past 3 years I've been working for an organic CSA serving low income people in NYC. Working directly with farmers has inspired me to gain direct experience with organic farming.
What are your reasons for joining WWOOF Mexico?
Learning about sustainable living and agriculture, Getting to know Mexico better
What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
The reason I'm WWOOFing is to travel, learn, have fun, meet new people and do something truly meaningful.

I am eager to participate in sustainable living and learn more about organic farming! I'll be starting a graduate program in landscape architecture in the fall and I want my WWOOFing experiences to inform my studies. I teach ceramics, make art and enjoy cooking (vegetarian). I love hiking, camping and being outdoors although opportunities are pretty limited here in New York City.

This is my first time WWOOFing but I've volunteered both at home and abroad in the past including work as an architectural restoration volunteer in a remote hilltop village in Italy. It was an amazing experience!

I'll be attending a Spanish language school in Guatemala for the month of June. After that, I hope to volunteer from July- August 10th. By then I should be able to speak some spanish!

Please let me know if you have any questions for me. I'm a very easygoing person who doesn't mind roughing it, a vegetarian and a hard worker.
