What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
My family owns a wine, cheese and olive oil farm. We have a vegetable garden as well. I have been working here for quite a bit now.
What are your reasons for joining WWOOF Mexico?
Learning about sustainable living and agriculture, Getting to know Mexico better
What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
I am a motivated happy person. I love working outside in nature. I am quick minded and love to solve difficult problems. I just graduated in Biological sciences at Exeter University, UK. I love to travel, dance and learn languages and cultures. At the moment, I speak Italian, English, German and a bit of Spanish (learning it at the moment).
I am extremely interested in your project. My girlfriend (also a WOOFER), Ornella and I are just about to start a marvelous experience around Central and South America. We are landing in Mexico on the 8th of December and we are planning to WOOFF and learn. I have lived in a wine, olive and sheep farm all my life and I just graduated with a Biology degree in the UK. Ornella has also worked a lot in agriculture and she has a Psychology degree. We are both very joyous, motivated and adventurous people who always love to socialize, meet new people and deepen our awareness. After having studied for three years we feel it is time to do some real practical experience and by looking at the Lemurian Embassy website we thought that a farm/community experience in such a mystical place would be perfect. SO the question is: Would we be able to come and work as WWOOFERS sometime at the end of December/beginning of January?
Thank you very much,
Oscar and Ornella
