What is your previous experience with Organic Agriculture and Sustainable Development?
I spent 2 months wwoofing on farms in Quebec in the summer of 2007. / I have had an organic garden in the yard of my home in Winnipeg MB for the last four years. / There are a couple of really great eco-villages in Manitoba where I have spent time/volunteered for the last couple of summers (one of them is pretty much a second home). Straw bale buildings, large gardens, wildcrafting medicinal herbs, all of it off-grid using solar for electricity and for baking. / I love animals and have experience caring for chickens, horses, pigs, and goats.

What do you want the farms and fellow WWOOFers to know about you?
I am currently learning about/practicing: Yoga, Moving meditation, herbal medicine, botany, sustainable building techniques, permaculture methods... / I speak English and French and am currently fairly immersed in Spanish with plans to do a week of schooling very shortly. / I have lots of experience with carpentry/building, both conventional and alternative. / I have a great love for nature and have spent many months traveling in the wilderness in Canada, by canoe or by hiking. More recently I have taken to slower journeys through the woods studying and connecting with plants. / I'm always passionate about building projects and gardening and am looking forward to engaging with the Mexican soil! / Last and most important of all I love getting to know people who are involved in the movement towards making this world a healthier and happier place for everyone and everything, I look forward to hearing and seeing other peoples ideas, as well as sharing the experiences that I have had.
