Hi

I am traveling to mexico at the end of this september to see my family, I plan to spend a couple of months with them, and then would like to work at a agricultural/eco community.

I currently live in london, I work as premises assistant at a art space, with a large garden and theater, for my job it is necessary that i am proficient with tool and craft minded.


recently my work place received a government grant to set up a sustainable food program, I have been working on this program both hand on with building of the necessary infrastructure; a large polytunnel and smaller greenhouse, a chicken coup, the planting of trees and plants, and the landscaping of the garden, as well as taking part in the creative role of decision making in how much the funding should be spent coming up with creative and achievable goals to engage the local community in our green space. 

I have education session of local school children to work in the garden, teaching them both about horticulture and giving them a hand on chance to use tools in the building of our garden.

I have a qualification in Environmental Issues in the Work Place, that gives me the skill to identify where environmental issues emerge from both the workplace and domestic like, and develop systems to minimize and hopefully eradicate these.

I have experience of rustic living, while in london I have squatted for many years, often moving into semi derelict building that we lived in while working to refurbish to a decent standard, I have gone through harsh british winter with no hot water or heating and been happy, so i think i can cope with rustic life haha.

I am passionate and excited by the opportunity to work in self built communities ,experimenting with other way of living, aspiring for self sustainability and a mutual aid.

I am currently taking spanish classes and am very committed to improving my spanish, id say currently I have the basics, and communicate enough to get by, but part of the reason I want to go to mexico is to improve my spanish.
