Hi Ali--we will have space in January so explore our world at www.tutuaca.org and let me know if this is an environment that is interesting to you and we will go from there.

Hello Ali!

Yes, we are accepting volunteers for January to help out renovating and maintaining the hacienda.  You can stay a few days, and then see if it is the environment that suits you at the moment.

Some of the work here is hard manual work (like painting or moving large items) and some work is simple (like feeding the dogs or watering plants).  Some of the work is garden related (creating a path around the Maguey trees), some of the work is Bed and Breakfast related (helping with cooking and cleaning) and some of the work is renovating the hacienda (adding doors and windows, building roof, etc).  Some days have a clear schedule (especially when there are guests) and some days are very "Montessori" (you decide what you would like to do today!).  The workweek is about 30 hours, more or less.

Please read www.casamalinche.com/woof.htm for more details about us. This is a great place to stay if you like quiet environment to read and meditate, if you like the sound of nature as opposed to the sound of busy cities, if you enjoy time working independently without supervision, and if you don't need to get drunk to enjoy life.

If you are still interested to check us out, let us know what day you would like to arrive and we will reserve a space for you. We can send you then the directions to the hacienda.

Ali, a shift of plans. We need all hands possible right now. Are you nearby at this time? A marvelous Irish lad (26), marvelous Mexican alternative medic (31) and I are doing light construction on several urgent projects. We could use your help. We share gourmet cooking, music and good times. Everyone enjoys being here, although we work hard on raised bed, rabbit, worm and humanure chores. Your experience here will prepare you for simple living in a veritably delightful way. Please phone to let us know where you are 739 395 5019 or t_osher@yahoo.com. Thanks.T.
