HI Ilia, thanks for your interest in volunteering at Whitt's End Rancho.

We do have need of additional help here at the ranch.  I have a few questions for you; What have you done in the past?  Do you have any experience with live stock animals?  Have you worked on an organic farm in the past?  Where do you see yourself in 5 years?  Are you an earlier riser and do you work well with others?  Do you like to be in a rural location? Do you know about solar power?

I am looking more for a good attitude and a good work ethic than experience.  We can and want to teach the right person(s) about our sustainable ranch and life style.

We have a 6 day work week that begins at 7:00AM milking our goats and caring for the other animals on the ranch, we take a break in the day,  then finish with the evening milking and animal husbandry chores as well as domestic chores and possible farmers markets.  This in exchange for great health food and a spacious trailer to sleep, bathroom and laundry facilities.
Apart from the ranch chores we plan to begin a cob shower/toilet area that you could be helping build.  There are other items that you can help with as well.
We are about 2 miles from a beautiful beach and arroyos to hike and explore.
I hope to hear from you soon.
Kind regards,
Lisa Whitt

Lisa, thank you for the quick response! I am happy to answer your questions. I studied at the College of Music in Moscow. Played on classical guitar (classical music) Disaccustomed 1 course and dropped, because I did not see myself as a professional musician and felt a musical talent.

Now I make a perennial journey and want to travel around the world 7 years without returning home. After 5 years, I plan to be in Asia, in China or India and keep the direction toward home.

No, I haven' expirience with live stock animals.

Two months ago I got the first experience of wwoofing for myself. It was in the United States, Mississippi. I worked there for a month. It was a farm of Hare Krishna movement. For me this time was great. I had the first friends in America :)

yes, I like to get up early. when I did not traveling, I trained myself to get up before 6:00. Yes, the best time for me when I work in a small team.

Yes, I've always dreamed of living in nature!

I am not an expert in solar energy. And I want to get the experience of a lifetime where the main source of energy is the sun.

I have little experience in the construction of small structures. I helped my father in the construction of garden.
and maybe I can help you with this.

Have a good day, Lisa! :)

It is not that easy to get to our ranch.   We are located 17 south or 30 miles north east  from pavement on the East Cape, a poorly maintained dirt road.  Yes I would say you can hitch to San Jose del Cabo from La Paz then out to vinorama then north another 12 kilometers.  If by chance you can get a ride to La Ribarra then you may possibly be able to get a lift the rest of the way south to the East Cape.  We are south of Cabo Pulmo and south of Los Friles very close to the rancho in Boca del Salado.  Once in the area, all the locals know of us.  There is no address, no phone service nor postal service here.  We are VERY RURAL!  There is a map to us from San Jose on Google Earth under Whitt's End Rancho.

Good morning Iliva, It would be perfect to meet me Wednesday at the NEW Mercado Santa Carmela located on the Transpeninsular at KM 25 in the Las Fuentes shopping center just outside San Jose del Cabo.  They are a client I stock with my goat dairy products.  It is easy to find and easy to get to if driving.  I would like to meet you there at say 1:30 PM. Coming from Todos Santos, Mercado Santa Carmela store location is before you get into San Jose.

Let me know if you can make this time.  Have a great trip to Todos Santos, it is a beautiful little community.

I look forward to hearing from you.
