Hey,

We're Jade and Gabriel, Travel bloggers on an overland, zero waste, and ethically conscious journey from Tofino to Tierra de Fuego (Vancouver Island to Patagonia, Canada to Chile) Our aim with the blog is to inspire others to question their rat race lives and learn to live more simply, responsibly, and in tune with their environment, as well, of course, as travel and see the world. 

Our goal is to learn about different cultures and ways of life while enjoying the planet's wonders, and surfing along the way, which is our passion. Our ultimate goal is to learn how to exist in harmony with our environment and within the constraints of our culture, and to eventually go back to the Dominican Republic and apply what we learned and grow some roots. 

We're very dedicated hard workers as we know farming is hard work and we hope to one day do it for ourselves. This is not for us a way to save money while traveling but rather a very serious learning experience. We are very open minded and curious about everything from farming to architecture, and eager to learn and help out as much as we can. 

We do not require a room as we live in our Westfalia, we just need a parking spot. 

We do travel with our small pup named Phi. He's extremely well behaved and clever and will not get in your way nor cause any trouble.
