We'd love to come WWOOF on your farm!  

 

We're Dave and Anna (both members, though this is Dave's profile) and we're going to be passing through Mexico in June on our way overland down to Rio.  We are planning on stopping to wwoof as often as possible through our trip, and we were excited to visit a project like yours which does both growing and marketing.  We are also interested in learning about making grain and bread and nut-butters, and just about everything else you mention in the description of the farm.

 

As for ourselves, we both have some experience with organic farming.  I worked for four months on non-organic dairy farm in New Hampshire five years ago.  Together, we completed a Permaculture Design Course in 2009.  For the past 16 months, we have been traveling through Africa by bicycle, stopping along the way to wwoof on as many farms as we could manage.  Unfortunately it wasn't as many as we had hoped, which is why we're leaving the bikes behind for this bit of the trip.

 

We would expect to arrive in Puerto Vallarta in early June; we are flexible as to dates and would be happy to arrange whatever suits you best.  We would hope to stay for one month.

Me llamo Lucas, tengo 23 años y soy de Berlin, Alemania. Desde hace más que un año estoy viviendo aquí en Mexico con mi novia de Noruega, y durante los últimos tres meses hemos viajado y trabajado como voluntarios en ranchos en Belize y Guatemala. Mi novia habla fluidamente Español, y yo estoy aprendiendo todavía. Nos gustaría trabajar en tu rancho, y como dicho hemos trabajado en ranchos en otros países, además de hacer wwoofing en Erongaricuaro – Michoacan. Queremos aprender más de agricultura y nos gusta todo lo que tiene que ver con animales y naturaleza. Tenemos mentes abiertas, somos buenos trabajadores y queremos encontrarnos con más retos de  la vida.

 

Antes de comenzar mi viaje estuve trabajando por una aerolínea que se llama Air Berlin durante cinco años. Empecé mi viaje en Europa, después fui a Nueva York y me vine desde los Estados Unidos a Mexico por tierra. Conocí a mi novia en Tulum, y ella tiene un año y ocho meses viajando en Sur America, Centro America y el Caribe. Se llama Andrea, tiene 21 años y es de un pueblito que queda una hora de la capital de Noruega. A los dos nos gusta mucho cocinar, cuidar a animales, trabajar con plantas y todo lo demás que se necesita hacer en un rancho.

 

Estamos disponibles para comenzar a trabajar ya de una vez, y como tenemos tiempo ilimitado para viajar y trabajar, estamos buscando algo que sea por un largo plazo – todo dependiendo de cuanto ayuda necesitaran en su rancho. James here. I will be in Guadalajara for a two weeks starting mid October, house sitting for a friend and volunteering at a youth organization. My plan then is to move to PV for several months. I would appreciate the opportunity to come work on your farm. Ideally I would work and live on your farm and volunteer at Children of the Dump (Feed the Children Vallarta) in my off time. My dream these past many years is to combine my passion for organic and sustainable farming with my passion to help marginalized youth and to finish my Spanish Language studies and live and work by the ocean in Puerto Vallarta Mexico. I believe I can do it all and I start with you. I have always placed myself WHERE I want to be and things have always worked out. So once again I take a leap of faith and know that I will meet the right people at the right time who will help me realize a dream. I can bring many things to your farm, a strong body, an passion for what you do, a creative, experienced marketing mind, and a love for Mexico. I'd love to wwoof on your farm!  My name is Lance, I'm a happy healthy 22 year old male currently living in Denver, Colorado, USA.  I'd like to be down there mid-November and can stay as long as you need me.  I'm very interested in learning organic and sustainable farming methods because I hope to one day soon ditch the 9-5 and liveon my own terms:D  Anyway,  I'm a vast learner, have passable spanish and am in very good physical shape.  I have a tent and bag (not sure what your arrangements are like) very laid back and low mainainence.  Please let me know as soon as possible whether you have an opening or not [please say you do;) ]. hey krystal. unfortunately i do not have any experience in perma culture design, but i am super keen to get out and get stuck right into it. i am twentyone, in good physical shape and am a fast learner.i have worked as a landscapers labourer in the past for several months. most recently i studied comercial cookery and worked in several hospitality venues around melbourne, australia. i have always had an interest in gardening and organics and recently i even started a garden on the roof of my fathers restaurant in melbourne city! i look forward to hearing back from you.
