Thanks for writing. It seems like that should work, although for those dates we won't have enough work here in town, the work will be out on a piece of land we are starting to plant trees on. The big differences there are that you would be sleeping in a tent, not our house, most of the time (of course you can come and stay at our house also for several days) It's a nice tent, but still, a tent. And also the cooking situation is a bit rustic, we'll be providing food but most of the cooking will be up to you guys. If you don't mind those situations, hopefully it will work. Keep us posted about your plans, and any questions you might have. I'm sure you guys would like Xilitla. We did a very similar trip several years ago and made it all the way to Brazil, so we might be able to recommend some other places to work/visit. Saludos! Katie y Paco
Hello Sam, I just got your most recent message and I'm afraid I don't have very good news. We hadn't heard from you in so long that I figured you had changed your plans! Sorry, but since we won't be here in those dates I think it won't work.
We would love for your and your friends to come and help out! Unfortunately, we do not accept resident volunteers for less than 6 months at this time. These and other volunteer specifications are detailed on our website www.tashirat.com if you would like to know more. We are not really a traditional wwoofing site for these reasons. But if you will all be staying in Tepoztlan and would like to come volunteer, we would be more than happy to have come volunteer any day of the week. We are sorry we cannot offer you lodging for such a short stay!
Let us know if this is something that would work for you. Wishing you and your friends the best on your travels!
ILICA is in the process of recovering from the heavy rains of the summer, unfortunately we are not receiving volunteers until we can restart our farming activities.

I really hope something else works out. Sorry!
Hola Sam,
I won't be hosting volunteers until sometime in April.
