Often people romance the idea of living on a remote ranch in the middle of nowhere but seriously folks--this is sustainability at its best and it is hard work. Slow food, building with earthen materials etc..not a quick run to town either--8 hrs round trip on foot (30 miles). So please, if you want to come here commit and stay the period of time that you committed to--because someone who wanted to come here was denied the ability because you were taking the space.
We are…

Hi Leon,
I'm planning to do a wwoofing/yoga/meditation trip in Mexico and Guatemala. this would start in late november. I'll sit the Veracruz Vipassana course the 27th of December and will probably land in Cancun. I would love to participate in you project. I do yoga and meditate every day and have been living in a self sustainable coop for the last 2 months where I've acquired a couple of farming/building skills.
Hope to see you soon,
Good…

While in the dorm with my friend, I started talking to him about his summer plans. He told me about WWOOF; I could feel my eyes open wide as he described his experience. I started talking to my parents about my summer plans which included WWOOF. Since they were initially resistant, I tried every trick I knew so my parents would allow me to go. It has kind of worked :D
I am really excited about the opportunity to WWOOF because it falls in line with my passions. I am a spanish…
