Hola Levi!

If you get get the chance try to stone some time volunteering here. The farm has plenty of scope to develop your skills and knowledge if you are a novice like me but also needs people who know what they are doing to help develop it further. On site are poultry and animals mostly for eggs and meat as well as a microbrewery and developing veggies production. The orchard wasn't producing during my winter visit. The owner Dolores is an amazing woman with a huge heart whom I have the upmost respect… Continue

Criollos...

Maiz Criollo and Criollo Cattle--the theme for this season.  We began a project helping the local Pima Community grow native corn (maiz criollo) two years ago--it is working and we need to grow more corn--build a seed bank and continue with this line of work.

We also work with criollo cattle..for grassfed beef.   More on criollos later.

I am looking for a host :)

I just saw your profil and I am fascinated by your lifestyle you have. You made me very curious about it and I would love to be a part for a while. I think the way you made your profile is very pleasant. Since I am new here, I didn't had a chance yet to make a video about myself. But you are welcome to ask me everything you want to know. Enrique and Pamela

Good afternoon,

Me and my wife are planning to go to Playa del Carmen next week and we are looking for a place to WWOOF.

We are very hard workers and quick learners.

A little bit about ourselves:

We are 26 and 24 recently married and we are on a quest to discover the world through our own eyes. We love to travel and to meet new people.

We believe everyone is in your path for a reason, to learn, to teach and to love.

We have some experience in farming…

Rancho La Bellota March News Letter

EnriqueFuentes LaBellota-120510-031

ust a brief update on what’s happening at the ranch.  Once again, some time has passed since our last news letter update. I will definitely have to rectify that.

Rancho La Bellota is well underway with group activity this fine Spring Season.  We’re still hoping for more rain this year, and our fingers are crossed for some heavy April showers next month!  Our oats fields sure could use a good soak, not to mention all the plants, and trees in…

hello from new Zealand

Hello, I am currently backpacking through Mexico trying to learn more about both the colonial and the aboriginal culture. I am trying to learn Spanish, which is proving very fun! In about 30weeks I will be in the Yucatan and would love to spend some time with your little family. To share some of the organic farming techniques I have learned at home in New Zealand, an to learn as much as possible from you! I have always been fascinated by Mayan history and their understanding of our universe and… Continue
